Meribel Mottaret is 1750 metres, it is the highest resort in the Meribel Valley and the most central of the Three Valley ski area. This means guests benefit from the best snow conditions and have the best access to be able to easily explore the World's largest ski resort.

If you’re a keen skier, or looking to get the most out of your ski pass, then Meribel Mottaret is the perfect place for you to stay. Alternatively, if you just want to get a Meribel ski pass, the slopes around Mottaret itself are also great.
Meribel Mottaret has everything you could need, from supermarkets, restaurants, ski hire and clothes shops, ski schools, a tourist office, night-club and even a cinema! If you’re staying with kids, then there is plenty to keep them entertained. There is also plenty to do whilst not skiing, and if you want to explore the restaurants, activities and nightlife of Meribel centre, then you can hop on the free bus service which will take you there within approximately 10-minutes.

Skiing in Meribel Mottaret
Meribel Mottaret is a purpose-built resort for skiers and snowboarders, so the vast majority of the properties in Mottaret can be found on or within 200 metres of the slopes. Therefore, wherever you choose to stay, accessing the slopes is incredibly easy. It also means, there’s no need to lug your ski equipment about, and after a hard day of skiing, you can easily make your way back to your accommodation to put your feet up and unwind.

What To Do When Not Skiing in Meribel Mottaret
Meribel Mottaret has lots of shops, bars, restaurants, bakeries and cafes to keep you occupied when you aren't skiing. There is also a cinema in Mottaret showing some great films every day at 20:45 and at 14:00 on bad weather days.
Mottaret is the home to the thrilling Mission Black Forest toboggan run, as well as the luge that is on the Himalaya piste at night, which is only €12 for the night and is free for children under 11 years old. There are also some excellent walk routes that allow you to explore the beauty of Lac du Tueda.
