Getting around Meribel
Meribel Bus Service
Running approximately every 20-minutes from 7.30am until just after midnight throughout the Meribel Valley, the free resort bus service in Meribel is incredibly convenient.
Meribel has a frequent free resort bus service between the different villages of the Meribel Valley, which makes it very easy to get from one part to another.
There are four different bus routes, one from Les Allues to Meribel Village to the centre of town and La Chaudanne. The others connect Meribel Altiport, Meribel Morel and Le Rond Point, and Meribel Mottaret to Meribel Centre.
Brides Les Bains at the bottom of the valley is connected to the rest of the Meribel valley by the Olympe Telecabine lift.
The buses run from 7am until just after midnight seven days a week, with most routes having a service every half an hour. During the first and last week of the season there are reduced services because of the lesser need.

Olympe Telecabine
The Olympe Telecabine is also an excellent way of getting around the resort during the day. It runs from 8:30 until 17:30 daily and is free to use.
It starts at the very bottom of the mountain in Brides-Les-Bains and has a mid-station at both Les Allues and La Raffort before reacing the final destination of Meribel Centre, where you get off right by the Chaudanne which is the main lift hub and ski school meeting point in the Meribel Valley.
This is an excellent way of getting around if staying in Les Allues or Raffort and you don't want to get the bus to the slopes in the morning and back in the afternoon.
