A Guide to Meribel Village
Meribel Village is tucked away from the centre, giving you some more peace and quiet, making it perfect for families. The chairlift out of Meribel Village takes you to the Altiport area which has protected children's areas and serves as an excellent connection to the rest of the ski area.
Overview
Meribel Village has everything you could need in one place; a supermarket if you’d rather cook for yourself, a great bakery offering sandwiches and takeaway pizzas, a few bars and restaurants and a ski hire shop.
It couldn’t be a more convenient location for skiing as all of the properties are within walking distance of the chairlift, which takes you right to the Altiport area of Meribel. After a day of exploring, there is a winding blue run to take you right into the centre of Meribel Village. If you fancy a change of scenery, you’re only five minutes away from Meribel Centre on the free bus.

Skiing in Meribel Village
In Meribel Village, wherever you stay, you are about a five minute walk from the Golf chairlift. The Golf chairlift offers excellent access directly to the Altiport area of Meribel which has protected children's areas and serves as a great connection to the rest of the ski area.
To get back to Meribel Village after a day on the slopes just follow the Lapin piste back from the Altiport.

What To Do When Not Skiing in Meribel Village
The Lodge du Village is one of the best apres bars in Meribel, offering different live apres bands everyday, and on Wednesdays the apres continuing until 10pm! The bar is also open at night, hosting various events throughout the week.
Alternatively, if you aren't skiing, take a walk through the forest down to Les Allues and explore the village where the Meribel Valley started. Or, pamper yourself by booking a massage in your chalet or apartment.
