If you’re looking for a village in the Meribel Valley with quaint Savoyard charm, and fantastic access to the slopes, Les Allues could be the place for you.
Les Allues, Le Raffort, Les Cruet, Nantgerel and surrounding hamlets are the origins of the Meribel Valley resort. These small hamlets have retained their traditional farm buildings and chalets, small winding streets and Alpine character. Les Allues has a couple of fantastic restaurants and bars, along with a small shop, so there is everything you could need within walking distance of your property. For the evenings, the Tsaretta is unbeatable for its buzz of locals and holidaymakers alike. They offer a great range of food, from pizzas to Asian inspired food. If you don’t want to ski, Les Allues has a great variety of other activities too. You can walk through the forest up to le Villard to enjoy the views across the valley, or to Meribel Village to try out the restaurants there, and experience the fresh snow without putting skis on. Les Allues also has its own museum which you can explore to learn more about the fascinating history of the Meribel Valley.
Access to the Three Valleys Ski area is provided by the Olympique Telecabine in Les Allues which connects Brides Les Bains further down the valley to Meribel Centre. During good snow conditions, you can even ski all the way back down to Les Allues! Alternatively, you can hop on the free resort bus service to take you to the Centre in less than ten minutes.
