Golf Courses in Meribel
With the perfect mix of challenge and elegance, set within a mountain setting, Meribel's golf course is not to be missed.
Golfing in Meribel Overview
The 18-hole course in Meribel is dominated by the mountain, Dent de Burgin, and winds around the wooded slopes. With its narrow fairways, rolling fairways, water features and some fairly steep walks, the golf course is technically challenging. The course runs the length of the valley from Altiport, Rhodos to Chantemouche and boasts a change in altitude of over 250 metres.
The Meribel Golf Course is seen as one of the most beautiful courses in the Alps. The golf course took nearly forty years to design, build and renoavte, helped by some of the biggest names in the world of golf architecture, including Géry Watine, Thierry Sprecher and Hugues Lambert.
As well as the course itself, the golf club boasts a 1,100m² training area with a putting green, chipping green, a bunker and a practice area with 40 places (of which, ten coveed).
