Meribel Village Overview
 
Meribel Village is a very compact resort with all of the accommodation either right by or within a couple of minutes walk of the nearest piste and chairlift.

 

Meribel Village is excellent for families and beginners as you have direct access to the Altiport area of Meribel where there are designated beginner and children only areas.

 

 

The Golf chairlift takes you directly to the Altioprt which is one of the best area for children and beginners in the Three Valley ski area. The Lapin piste, a blue, running back into Meribel Village can be slightly steep at some points and in the afternoon can get icy once the sun is no longer shining. 

Access to Other Areas
 
Thanks to Meribel Centre's central location in the ski area and the excellent infrastructure the Three Valleys has in place, accessing the other areas in the Three Valley ski resort is easy.

 

 

Meribel Centre can be easily accessed by catching the Golf chairlift to the Altiport. From there you then have access by the Altiport chairlift to the rest of the Meribel ski area.

 

 

You can access Courchevel from the Altiport area by using the Altiport chairlift and then skiing to the Loze chairlift. From there, you can ski into Courchevel La Tania, Courchevel Le Praz, Courchevel 1850 or Courchevel 1550. 

 

There aren't any ski school meeting points in Meribel Village. However, ESF meet at the Altiport.

 

The other ski schools all meet at La Chaudanne in Meribel Centre which you can ski to from the Altiport. Or, you can catch the very convenient free resort bus from Meribel Village to La Chaudanne within 8-minutes.

 

The free bus is very convenient as it runs approximately every 20-minutes from 7.30am until just after midnight.
