Our first recommendation for your children is the Altiport area in the Meribel Valley. Here you will find a number of brilliant green runs as well as two designated fun areas for children. The first area is the Piste des Inuits which has a park for the children to enjoy as well as a fun slalom course where the kids can whizz between some cool models. Secondly, the Piste des Animaux is a fun trail through the woods where the kids can find life-size animal models.

 

At the top of the Legends chairlift, there is a small terrain park for children with small boxes and kickers. If your kids love freestyle they can then progress to the Elements park and fun slopes which is also accessed via the Legends chairlift.

 

In Meribel Mottaret head to the Yeti park which a number of tunnels, banked turns and other fun features for the children. 

 

When you look at a piste map head for the areas highlighted in yellow and you know it will be fun for the children.

In Courchevel, there are many designated fun areas for children. The largest area is the family park which has plenty of funs, jumps, boxers and whoops for the family to enjoy. If you have older kids or daredevil parents in your group there are also some large terrain park features in Courchevel’s family park. The runs around the family park back down into the centre of 1850 are very gentle and great for kids learning to ski,

 

In Courchevel Moriond there are a number of fun areas. Le Canyon de Yepa is an immersive ski experience with a Native American theme. Also in Courchevel 1650 there is a Western ski park and a children’s terrain park. There are plenty of long gentle pistes in Courchevel Moriond that are great fun for the whole family.

 

The Val Thorens Valley is superb for children, firstly because of the great snow conditions as it is the highest resort in Europe. In Val Thorens, there is a family park and fun ride area at the top of the 2 Lacs chairlift which is a 900-metre course with snow tunnels, bridge, spirals and banked turns.

 

In Les Menuires, you have the Pixel area at the top of the Sunny Express chairlift which has plenty of jumps and boxes and a boardercross. Then you have the friendly Natural Park in the La Masse sector where you can learn about the local wildlife whilst skiing!
