Cuisine in the French Alps is renowned for two things: meat and cheese. This is far from ideal if you are vegan. However, with veganism continually growing across Europe plenty of restaurants in Meribel are meeting this new demand.
Most places will now have at least one vegan option. If you don't see a vegan option on the menu ask the staff and they will be able to point you in the right direction. A safe bet is a veggie pizza with no cheese and for a long time this was about the only vegan option you could get.

The Tavern always has a vegan option on their menu and La Terrase du Village will cater for vegans.
If you are looking for good vegan food on the mountain, Chez Biff has a vegan burger. If you have a 3 Valleys pass The Ski Lodge in La Tania and Wok Ski in Val Thorens both cater for vegans.
