A Guide to Meribel Centre
Meribel Centre is the main hub of the Meribel valley and offers guests the largest selection of restaurants, bars and non-skiing activities including swimming and ice skating. As Meribel Centre is located in the heart of the Three Valleys it also offers guests excellent access to explore the World's largest ski resort.
Overview
The Heart of the Three Valleys boasts beautiful pinewood scenery, a chocolate-box feel, but also where traditional Alpine charm mixes seamlessly with a vibrant and varied night-life. Meribel Centre itself is home to a wealth of shops, bars, restaurants, night clubs and cafes.
Meribel Centre encompasses not only the buzz area of shops, restaurants and bars next to La Chaudanne, but also a number of other areas including Meribel Morel & Le Plateau (also known as Altitude 1600), Le Rond-Point, Belvedere and the Altiport. The vast majority of accommodation in central Meribel is found in between the Morel and Belvedere areas, with the Rond-Point and Belvedere offering luxury chalets and apartments on the slopes.

Skiing in Meribel Centre
The main hub of lifts in Meribel Centre can be found at La Chaudanne, which is right next to the bus stop.
From La Chaudanne, you can get to Courchevel, Mottaret and the Altiport in one lift. If you are staying higher up in Meribel Morel the Morel chairlift will take you up to the Altiport which offers great connections to the rest of the ski area, and with the vast majority of accommodation in the Rond-Point and Belvedere being ski-in ski-out you will almost always be able to ski straight onto or be within 200 metres of the piste.

What To Do When Not Skiing in Meribel Centre
Meribel Centre isn't only great for skiing, there is a wide range of other activities to enjoy. There is a whole host of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes to chose from, the vast majority of these can be found in the main high street area by La Chaudanne.
For non-skiers there are also a range of other activities to enjoy including snow-shoeing through the trees at the Altiport. There is the Olympic Centre by La Chaudanne which features a 25m swimming pool, spa, gym and climbing wall.
For those who are more adventurous you can try husky sledging or a top to bottom tandem paragliding flight.
